Our State’s motor vehicle injury insurance scheme is currently under review, putting motor vehicle accident claims under threat.
The current proposal recommends a “no fault” scheme, whereby people injured in a motor vehicle accident can be compensated whether or not someone is at fault.
The review sets to reduce benefits paid to individuals who would currently receive compensation. The proposal also recommends a minimum threshold, so that many injuries currently compensated may not be in the future.
If you have been injured in a motor vehicle accident whether a driver, passenger or pedestrian and have any questions please call our office on (08) 8410 9494. You matter to us.
